My Journey to KANAWA Island ( 1 )

I have long holiday before 2014 start. And i decide to fly to the small island in Flores Indonesia KANAWA. Why i choose this island..? From all the information that i get, this place is realy perfect for me to start my life contemplation. They say's KANAWA is a beautiful tropical island of about 28 Hectares, fully surrounded by natural reefs. It consists of two main white sand beaches and one small, hidden sand cove. At the center of the island a hill guarantees astonishing 360 degrees views all over Komodo National Park, offering one of the world's most spectacular sunsets.

Is this true...?

Like i always said, don't believe anything what the people say's until you see it by yourself...

They say's it's look like heaven..!, but for me it's more more beautiful than heaven :)

Kwan Im Bio / Sin Tek Bio - Pasar Baru Jakarta

This place is hidden, around the crowd of pasar baru area. I'm not sure if i can back again to visit this place without getting lost. Thank you for Love Our Heritage comunity, that bring me to this place.

Yes, Sin Tek Bio/ Kwan Im Bio, is one of old chinese temple inside jakarta that have long history. Build around 1600++, when the dutch colonialized Indonesia, with famous name Batavia.

Kwan Im is chinese version of Marry. They are all embodied in the energy of the Moon and all represent the energy of Mothers , the feminine aspect. What i love about Kwan Im is , she is a symbol of compassion, non violance and also vegetarianism life style for buddhism in south east asia.



Although this place is one of important heritage place but not well known. Need more attention from the government !, to take care everything inside and around there.

Yesterday, i got invitation from the love our heritage comunity (LOH) to join 7 spiritual place tour around pasar baru in the centre of jakarta. Yes, to build understanding betwen the society, we will visit 7 different belief place.

The first place , i visit is Sai Baba Centre Jakarta. The place where Sai Baba Mission do practices of devotees. This place is open for any religion. They have everday bhajan practice, meditation, study class and social activity.



Even a lot of controversy around his name in Indonesia, but let see everything from the positive side, Sai Baba spread the message of peace and inspired many people to do a lot of social activities.

Yes, we stay here. A pretty quiet place to stay when you visit cimaja. Enough clean, have good food, just 100 meter away from surfing spot, unique building style with full of wood, green atmosphere around, nice pool and the important for me is the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Because this place always full in weekend and long holiday, better if you try to book early and choose the weekday. More calm and you can freely relax.

The room rate price is around 50 U$ - 60 U$, incluede breakfast. They can arranged pick up facility too, from and to Airport but the price is pretty expensive.

The Wave, The Rural and The Sun at Cimaja West Java

I'm not realy beach lover, i never make a beach inside my travel list destination. What i need now is a quiet and spacious place to fix the mess inside my brain. And Cimaja look perfect to visit.

Cimaja is a beach in little village Cisolok West Java Indonesia. Even just 120 km away from Jakarta, not make this place famous to be holiday destination. The big wave and also the strong story of traditional myth (Believe it or not there have been a lot of deaths missing on the sea over the years) make this place more quiet from tourist.

Just the surfer hang around here with the big big board , yes because the wave, cimaja become a heaven for the surfing lovers around the world.

Note : How to reached Cimaja from Jakarta...?
From Jakarta use Train Comuter Line to Bogor-1 hour ( 1U$)
From Bogor use Air Conditioning Bus directly to Pelabuhan Ratu West Java-4 hour (3U$)
From Pelabuhan Ratu rent motorcyle or other public transport to Cimaja- 15 minute (2U$)
