There is a lot of place to stay around Colombo city. Bit confused to choose where the best area to stay, because we will just have 15 hour time before our early train leave.
So i decided to stay in Kollupitiya area or famous with the name colpetty. Just 10 mnt from Fort Train Station. Not really tourist area. But easy acces, a lot of resto around and closed by the sea.
From the good review on tripadvisor we choose to have night at Drift Bed and Breakfast. Quiet place to stay, kind of boutique homestay. Chic and have unique style. The price for deluxe room is around 70U$/ night.
My fav spot is inside the bathroom. Because you can see the sea wave from the window. Yes this hotel just 50 m away from the seashore.
