Yesterday I took a book from my office desk friend, interesting cover. A book from Vietnamese Buddhist monk Thich Nhat Hanh, Peace is every step. From the title seems appropriate for my situation right now.
He say’s … Lead a mindful and meaningful life.
What is that..?
Mindfulness is the energy of being aware and awake to the present moment. It is the continuous practice of touching life deeply in every moment of daily life. To be mindful is to be truly alive, present and at one with those around you and with what you are doing. We bring our body and mind into harmony while we wash the dishes, walk on the street or take our morning shower.
Sometimes because we live with the” time” , we forget how to enjoy life. We are just wasting time, without realizing if every second is very valuable to be spent with someone special in your life.
What exactly are we looking for every day..? Happiness or..?.
We think to hurry up everyday to reached the destination, work, get money. But when we arrive at the destination, we will continue with other destinations more and more never enough.
And when we feel tired in the end the confusion will come. What we seek in life ?, what have we got so far? Nothing..
Let's stop for a moment..
Let us enjoy our breathing..
Breathing out ... I smile to life
Breathing in ..I have arrived.
Breathing out ..I am home.
Breathing in ..In the here.
Breathing out ..In the now.
Breathing in ..I am solid.
Breathing out ..I am free.
Breathing in ..In the ultimate.
Breathing out ..I dwell
