"When you find peace within yourself, you become the kind of person who can live at peace with others....."
Peace, this the first thing that come inside my mind when i take the first step at The Golden Temple door. My eyes just stunned, see the splendor of this temple while my ear enjoy the "Granthi" sing a chant of "The Guru Granth Sahib", holy bible of Sikh.
There are four doors to get into The Golden Temple, which symbolize the openness of the Sikhs towards all people and religions. Yes, i can feel it, how the comunity inside here will welcome everybody that want visit and pray. One you step inside, you become a family of all here. Whatever your cast, your religion , your race , no difference. All same in the front of God. The main philosophy of Sikhsm.
The main attraction here is, the gold dome in the centre of the pool, where the holy book of sikh present inside. Don't be shock, because to go inside the golden dome, you need wait in a long queue.
I sit on distance and see thousand of pilgrim stand on queue, in the heat of Amritsar, i think it's not easy moment. My mind just thinking. From the Golden Dome architecture i try to make a conclusions. The Golden dome is God symbol, a place where many people try to reached. And than the bridge to go inside is the human life. Everbody need to wait to find God, and the proces to reached there is not easy, not instant and need time. You never know who that walk there beside you, maybe the rich one, or the poor one. But all walk in same path, equal, and just the one that have experience to find God. Who...? The one that have Patience!.
And i just smile, because i canceled to join the queue, yes true, I don't have enough Patience, and one more after the long flight from kolkata this morning im feel realy hungry , im forget to feed my belly.
So it's time to do culinary journey and I will explore more The Golden Temple tomorow.
To be continued..
You have put forth wonderful conclusions, dear Mareta :) Everyone is equal in the eyes of the Lord, and one need to have a lot of patience and faith if one desires to meet him. The pictures are as always stunning and inspire me to be there as well. One day... again. Till then, I travel with you in this pilgrimage. :)
