Border crossing ( Moc Bai – Bavet Border ) Start around 8.30 am, I take a bus from Saigon. Need 7 hours more to reach phnom phen city. It’s very hot weather here, the bus AC does not work good. Just count the time and enjoy the khmer song that plays in bus tv. Around 12 pm I see the border Moc Bai – Bavet, even in real rule Indonesia and Cambodia make agreement at 4 june 2010 about free visa policy both the country, but not has not yet been implemented. I must pay 22 U$. Damn !
For apply the Cambodian visa we do not need anything, even the passport sized photos. They just need your money show your passport, fill the visa form , and you can easy cross.
PS : If you wanna pay more cheap, you can take care of everything ourselves. When you reached the border, go to immigration office and ask the visa form you will need to pay 20 U$ and need 2 U$ (they will make reason because its express visa) please don’t pay more. But if you wanna do it easy you can ask the bus person to arrange all. But you must pay around 25 U$. For the bus, please choose recommended bus SAPACO the agent available around Pham ngu lao street Saigon with the ticket price around 12 U$, just carefully too many scammer bus there.
My husband and I paid $25 each to enter Cambodia through Moipet border if i am not mistaken. That's in 2004. Do you have to pay for visa to get in to Vietnam?
