I love everything that old. Old dance, old city, old culture, old civilization and also old music. Yesterday i attend an epic classical india music by Mahesh Kale, a talented young man, that sing old india music with perfect voice.
I don't understand much about the india music history, but he sing many kind of music like Khabir Bhajan, Natyasangeet, Thumri, Qawali, Sufi, Abhang, and Thappa.
Mahesh Kale is awesome, he sing a song without limitation, from hindu kirtan to muslim devote. From Jagjit Singh song to Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan song. Invite all happiness together through music.
Wow, looks like a wonderful event. Music is in my soul, specially the deep ones like sufi which transport you to a different world - I love them. I could almost hear it through your pictures, Mareta. There is a certain divinity in music, I am so glad Jakarta organizes such concerts for you to enjoy.
